Terms & Conditions

1. General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings for private tastings, public and industry events, and consultancy services provided by Somm & Savour.
By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.
2. Private Event Bookings
Minimum Numbers
Private tastings require a minimum of 6 guests.
Deposit
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date.
Final Payment
Full payment is due 10 days prior to the event.
Failure to pay in full by this deadline may result in cancellation of the booking.
3. Cancellations & Changes
If you cancel:
The 20% deposit is non-refundable.
If full payment has been made, it is non-refundable.
However, events may be rescheduled subject to availability for a £50 administration fee.
4. Wine Substitutions
We reserve the right to substitute wines where necessary due to availability or supply issues. Any substitutions will be of equal or greater quality.
5. Age Restrictions
All events are strictly 18+ only. We reserve the right to refuse service where appropriate identification is not provided.
6. Event Conduct
Guests are expected to behave responsibly. Somm & Savour reserves the right to refuse service to any guest who is intoxicated or behaving inappropriately.
7. Photography
We may photograph events for promotional purposes. By attending, guests acknowledge this possibility. Guests may request not to be photographed.
8. Consultancy Services
Wine consultancy services are provided on an advice-only basis.
We do not guarantee commercial outcomes, sales performance, or financial results arising from advice given.
Clients remain responsible for all commercial decisions made using our recommendations.
9. Liability
Somm & Savour’s liability is limited to the value of the services booked.
We are not liable for:
Indirect or consequential losses
Business interruption
Commercial losses arising from consultancy advice
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to deliver services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, severe weather, venue issues, or supply disruption.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
